INFO
The band's first studio album was recorded at 'De Studio' with sound engineer/producer Dirk Miers in 11 days.
'Moneycracy' would definitely turn a page of the band's history, as line-up changes had affected the lead guitars.
Former Decadence virtuoso Larry decided to join Trouble Agency's ranks, after the leaving of Kalle. Composing and writing would take a radical turn and evolve towards more diversified and coloured songs compared to the straightforward and darker 'Bite Into Life'.
Unfortunately, the band still wanting to remain independent from any strains, financial issues forced Trouble Agency to neglect the promotion of their album, after having spent everything on recording and producing. It was nevertheless released in 1000 copies and was once again positively welcomed by major metal and rock critics.
'Moneycracy' refers to the capitalistic design of most present-day world powers and its catastrophic consequences on fauna, wealth and demography.

INFO
This EP is Trouble Agency's first effort to arrange and produce a more refined recording. Xavier Carion, former fellow musician to Kalle in Cyclone, had finished building his home-studio and suggested working together with the band on what would become 'Bite Into Life'. This unique opportunity ended up being a smoky and rather high-alcohol-laden experience, giving the band the chance to discover new methods and unexpected resources during the 2 day recording.
Though this EP cannot be considered as the band's first album as such, many acknowledge it as being a major milestone in the band's perilous career. It was welcomed warmly by most metal critics in Aardschok, Metallian and Hard Rock magazines for its effective rhythms, dark atmosphere and catchy arrangements.

'Bite Into Life' was released in 200 copies.

'Angry' establishes Trouble Agency's personality one step further compared to its elder brother 'Alone' and is the testimony of the musical maturation the band was going through at that time. It already featured one of the band's all-time classics; 'Why', still performed live today. The three songs it contains were recorded in 2 days at the 'Boxson' studios on a 16-track recorder. This record was marked by important sound changes, due to the fact that the band's van got robbed of all its instruments. Again the band would be facing serious issues. To avoid feedback with Alain's substitute bass, he had to be wrapped in electrical cables touching the ground to stay earthed during the takes and by the the time the band had recorded 'Angry', Pascal decided to leave the band, which would soon welcome its new drummer Aladin.
As a matter of interest; the record sleeve shows the band's definite logo for the first time, though some other logos had been going around for some time. The eyes on the cover come from a street-graffiti.

Angry was limited to a mere 100 copies.

INFO
Trouble Agency's very first recording was released on tape only, limited to 50 copies. Back then the band did not intend to release it for large audiences but rather as a first promotional format. At that time Trouble Agency was rehearsing at the back of clubs and pubs in Brussels and had been performing at several youth-clubs. The band decided to set up its instruments in an attic and ended up using a 4 track recorder to get drum and bass first, followed by guitars and vocals.
All four songs were recorded in 1 day, though some major problems occurred. Back at that time drummer Pascal had been warming up and rehearsing so intensively that he ended up completely exhausted for his first take. Didde also had to cope with having to give up very satisfying takes for making a mistake on the last few notes of a song.
Trouble Agency's line up at that time incorporated several members of previously notorious bands in the Belgian scene, but acting in different scenes that consciously refused to blend. Alain and Didde had been playing in Necrosis and Braincancer, which were closer to the hardcore scene. Kalle on the other hand came from the infamous Cyclone, still known for its ferocious thrash metal. At that time Trouble Agency already represented the merging of those two schools without lacking personal musical identity nonetheless.
